Is Connecticut's first networked technology center for Latino users. Project NEXO provides state-of-the-art computers with the latest software and internet access to teach Latinos basic computer skills and provide free access to other learning opportunities on-line.

Project NEXO also will provide job counseling services, general equivalency diploma courses, English classes, and on-line courses.

Facts about Project NEXO:

Project NEXO is being tracked nationally as a new model for connecting underserved communities through and with technology.

Over 10,000 new Latino users will access the system in the program's current pilot period.

CAUSA's Project NEXO has just been recognized with an award from the U.S. Department of Commerce to establish five public access computer centers.

To sustain Project NEXO beyond its pilot period, CAUSA, Inc. will need to raise $300,000 annually (60,000) for each of NEXO's five regional technology centers) through grants and service contracts.
